SnakeBytes 10/16: First External Managerial Candidate Revealed

David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution broke the news via Twitter that Eddie Perez, current Braves first base coach and former catcher with the Braves, Brewers, and Indians, is a possible candidate for the position of Diamondbacks manager.

Perez played from 1995-2005, and was the 1999 NLCS MVP. He was only his team's primary catcher twice, with the Braves in 1999 and the Brewers in 2003.
