If the starters were left in the game, this might have been a 10-1 rout of the Diamondbacks. It’s funny just how much bullpens can change the course of a game. Arizona stormed back against a weak Seattle bullpen while somehow managing to have their own bullpen hold the game for three innings. Then the Manfred Mann came into play and ruined everything.
Madison Bumgarner allowed five runs through six innings, including allowing three balls to leave the yard. The offense took a while to get going, but they managed to tie things up in the seventh inning.
