Jordan Montgomery Scott McGough, and Blake Walston all pitched in the game - in Coors Field. The results are about what one would expect, especially with Arizona’s offense going cold. Christian Walker hit a solo shot to the opposite field. Eugenio Suarez tattooed a couple of pitches, but they were shagged on or near the warning track.
Montgomery Returns to Rotation
While the veteran left-hander was not terrible, he wasn’t exactly good either, allowing three runs in 4 2⁄3 innings. Unfortunately, Arizona’s offense was not up to the task of supporting the pitching on Tuesday and the Diamondbacks were resoundingly defeated.
