In a series with serious playoff implications and only a limited portion of the schedule remaining to make up any missed games, MLB waited as long as they could to avoid postponing Tuesday night’s affair. But, Mother Nature kept threatening with lightning and potential tornados. Now, Arizona gets to play a double-header today before heading to play another massively important series in Philadelphia tomorrow. Arizona has swapped the starting pitchers expected to go today. Brandon Pfaadt will start the opener, with Eduardo Rodriguez finally making his season debut in second half of the twin bill.
