Los Angeles 10, Arizona 9
Arizona’s offense got off to a hot start, cooled a bit in the middle innings, then exploded against former Diamondback, Anthony Banda. Unfortunately, Arizona’s pithing was a hot mess last night and the offense came up a run short.
Dodgers Bullpen Grinds Out Important Win
The Dodgers lost Clayton Kershaw in the second inning. Joe Kelly only made it one more, woefully ineffective inning. Then, the bullpen found its stride and shut down the Snakes until another four-run outburst against Anthony Banda in the ninth. The win means that, even if the Diamondbacks win the rest of the series, they will still remain two games back of the Dodgers.
