Goldy and Godley did their jobs today and the win became relatively easy. Perhaps like it should of been for the first two games of this series. Goldy smashed two home runs and Godley continues to look like he did last year, while improving his record to a gaudy 13-6. David Peralta hit another homer to build on his hot streak. The Rangers are next with Greinke on the hill. A two-game sweep will ease the pain of two losses in Cincinnati and hopefully capitalize on the Dodgers inability to finish games of late.
Rather than giving Goldy more days off, Lovullo has apparently to decided to halt the stolen bases and give DH opportunities to the guy who hates to take a day off.
