Ryne Nelson had a strong outing, following Joe Mantiply’s opening in which the lefty surrendered a first-inning run. Arizona’s offense managed to hang runs on the Dodgers in four different innings and left themselves with a terrific chance to steal a win in Chavez Ravine. Unfortunately for Arizona, Paul Sewald had his first hiccup of the season and the Dodgers escaped with a walk-off 6-5 victory.
Nelson Leads Strong (but Ultimately Losing) Outing Against Dodgers
It is difficult to see how Arizona could ask anymore of Ryne Nelson and the strong work he put in on Tuesday.
