The Marlins jumped Zack Greinke for a run in the first inning. Then Greinke settled in and went to work on the cellar-dwellers. Greinke retired the next 11 batters he faced and only allowed two more hits over the next five innings. To make up for allowing a run to score in the first, Greinke hit collected yet another RBI hit in the second to tie the game. Two innings later, Jake Lamb crushed a triple to deep center and was brought home by Nick Ahmed. That ended up being the last anyone would hear of the Diamondbacks’ offense.
