After losing 3 games in a row and dropping to 3rd in the NL West, Zack Greinke stepped in to stop the bleeding with his exceptional performance yesterday afternoon against the Rockies. Colorado, whom’st coming into Sunday’s game had won 7 straight and moved into 2nd in the division standings, finally were put in place by Dbacks pitching. In the previous two games vs Col, Dbacks hitters scored a measly 15 runs total, but took 2 big L’s.
