Slade Cecconi was brilliant. Ketel Marte continued to make his case for the All-Star Game. Corbin Carroll also continued his season resurgence with another multi-hit night. The all-around complete game by Arizona was too much by far for the Nationals on Tuesday night.

Slade Cecconi followed up throwing the the worst outing of his career last week by throwing the best of his career on Tuesday night. The improvement is credited to the Diamondbacks’ pitching coach Brent Strom helping Cecconi make a few minor mechanical changes.
