Godley got lit up for 7 runs in the 4th inning and the D-backs managed to get their, pretty standard of late, 4 hits in the game. Not good. But the Diamondbacks are still above the .500 mark. They play the A’s next who have an identical record as the D-backs, followed by series against the weak Reds and Marlins. The NL West is all in a bunch of mediocrity at the moment. Injuries eventually heal and slumps usually heal as well. Plenty of time to get out of this recent poor play.
