[AZ Central] Diamondbacks bats wake up, but not enough in loss to Rockies - David Peralta posed briefly, started down the line and flipped his bat. The ball sailed toward the right-center field fence. It looked like it would leave the park and tie the game. Instead, it banged off the top of the wall. As Peralta pulled into second, he cocked his head in frustration. That was where Peralta was left standing to end Saturday’s game, which the Diamondbacks lost, 7-6, to the Colorado Rockies. In many ways, it was no surprise: For a team that has lost seven in a row and 16 of 19, it is clear the Diamondbacks are not catching many breaks these days.
