Riley Smith got the start today after being recalled from the training site. In the Brute Side Chat both Keegan and I predicted a great game for Smith, and the Dbacks winning with momentum behind them. BOY.... WE WERE HELLA WRONG, son. Smith pitched 4 frames, which isn't bad for someone not entirely stretched out, but the results were not fabulous as he got jammed up in the beginning of the 5th inning. 6 hits, 3 earned runs and ZERO strikeouts - no bueno. Then our boy J.B.B got the ball but got no where - he was unable to record a single out, gave up 4 hits and 3 earned runs.
