Snake Bytes 4/28: Pollock Leads the Way

A.J. Pollock had a fine night, went 3-for-4 with a home run and a triple while also supplying some great defense in center field. Zack Godley got slapped around a bit in his five innings of work, but managed to keep his team in the game. After that, Arizona’s bullpen took over and was dominant, showing no signs of rust whatsoever.

After taking Stephen Strasburg deep in the second inning, Pollock showed off his defensive capabilities by stealing away a hit to shallow center in the bottom of the fifth.

Lamb went through a full workout, fielding grounders, throwing and hitting, both Thursday and Friday, and D-backs manager Torey Lovullo was pleased with the results
