[D’backs.com] Souza exits with left knee injury vs. White Sox - For those of you questioning why the D’backs signed outfielder Adam Jones towards the conclusion of Spring Training, you should have your answer now. Steven Souza Jr. lost his footing while crossing home plate last night, in an exhibition game, and had to exit the game with a left knee injury. To make matters worse, outfielder Socrates Brito had already been placed on waivers because Arizona once again decided to go with three catchers on the roster. If Souza misses significant time, and Brito is claimed by another team, the D’backs depth will be tested early on.
