Tim Locastro continued to do great leadoff type things and Christian Walker accounted for all three of Arizona’s runs in the loss to the Brewers.
Arizona’s second lefty starter only allowed one run while striking out six through 4.1 innings. Christian Walker drove in all three runs in the losing effort.
Tyler Clippard faced seven batters without retiring a single one on Friday. After allowing six batters to reach, he fell behind 3-0 to Zach Green. It was at that point which Clippard walked off the mound to get his shoulder evaluated for discomfort which was preventing him from getting proper spin or following through on his pitches.
