If you had told me 11 games ago that the Diamondbacks would go 6-4 against the Dodgers, Padres, and Braves, I a) probably wouldn’t have believed you and b) would have been thrilled. Unfortunately, three Paul Seawald blown saves in very winnable games marred that record significantly, making it feel far worse than perhaps it actually is. 9-1 is a lot better than 6-4, and so is being in the second wild card vs currently out of the playoffs.
