The Old Club. There are 47 players in the 30 homers - 30 stolen bases (in a single season) club, but none are Diamondbacks. The Diamondback who came closest was Chris Young (in 2007 and 2010). Baseball Reference informed me that, “Players are never said to be in the 20-20 club or 25-25 club….” That changes today.
The New Club. The new club only includes the latest five seasons (2019 to 2023). It requires 25 homers and 25 stolen bases in a single season. There are 15 players in the 25-25 club. Two things are worth noting:
- Corbin Carroll is in the 25-25 club with 25 homers and 54 stolen bases in his age 22 season.
