After missing the first thirty-five games of the season with a strained oblique, closer Paul Sewald finally returned to the Arizona bullpen on May 7. He has not been a problem, with a 2.25 ERA. The issue has been more the lack of save opportunities for him: just two in eleven games. Part of that is on the Arizona offense. But as the results of our poll last week show, Arizona’s relief corps continues to be an issue for fans. And that's even before last night, where they allowed five runs over little more than two innings of work.
