ATLANTA -- D-backs outfielder A.J. Pollock will be eligible for salary arbitration for the first time this winter and according to report by Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com the team might look to sign Pollock to a long-term deal.
If that's the case, Pollock, 27, would be interested in hearing what they have to say. As of now, though, he has not heard anything and would prefer to keep his focus on the field.
"I probably won't ever comment unless they start talking to me," Pollock said. "I'd obviously be open. But that's kind of not my position to start talking.
