Jerry Narron will become the third Aces’ manager in team history. The first was Brett Butler, currently the baserunning/outfield coach for the Miami Marlins, who ran the team from its inception in 2009 through 2013. He was followed by Phil Nevin, whose three season stint with the team ended when he accepted the position of third-base coach with the San Francisco Giants.
Narron was a sixth-round pick by the New York Yankees in the 1974, and the catcher played in the majors from 1979 through 1987. He appeared in a total of 392 games for the Yankees, Mariners and Angels.
