D-backs No. 7 prospect rips a grand slam, No. 3 prospect allows 1 run in 6 2/3 innings
While most of the Minor Leagues watched four All-Star Games come and go Tuesday, Triple-A remained in full swing. Among the standouts were D-backs No. 3 prospect (No. 67 overall) Aaron Blair and No. 7 prospect Peter O'Brien, who teamed up to lead Reno to a narrow 4-3 win over Tacoma.
Blair threw 118 pitches -- 70 for strikes -- over 6 2/3 innings, giving up just one run on two hits.
