PHOENIX -- The Arizona Diamondbacks placed left-hander Robbie Ray on the 10-day disabled list with a strained right oblique on Monday and recalled RHP Silvino Bracho from Triple-A Reno.
Ray, 26, left his start yesterday against the Nationals in the second inning. He is 2-0 with a 4.88 ERA (15 ER in 27.2 IP), .238 opponent average and 45 strikeouts in 6 starts for the D-backs this season.
