When I initially started writing this at about 7 AM today, both of these team's starters where listed as "TBD"
In any case, it showed a level of coyness on Washington's part, and a level of "Oh f***, do we need to burn Kershaw today?" (the answer being yes) on the part of the Dodgers. It also probably didn't help that the start time of this game was entirely contingent on the result of last night's Giants-Cubs tilt, which if you fell asleep, went about 50 innings.
