PHOENIX -- If he could do it all over, D-backs outfielder A.J. Pollock would not have dove for the Tyler Saladino fly ball on May 14 that resulted in an avulsion fracture of his left thumb.
But that doesn't mean Pollock is going to change the way he plays the game when he returns from the disabled list sometime in the next month.
"It's in my job description to go out there and make plays when I'm on defense and do everything I can to score runs on offense, and that's kind of where my instincts take over," Pollock said.
