Pollock went 1-for-2 with a double and a walk in a five-inning rehab appearance for Triple-A Reno on Saturday night. The D-backs center fielder, who has been on the disabled list since May 15 because of a strained right groin, will take the day off Sunday and likely return to the field for Reno on Monday, D-backs manager Torey Lovullo said.
"We're encouraged by that," Lovullo said of the first game of Pollock's rebab.
