PHOENIX -- D-backs left fielder David Peralta left Thursday night's game against the Rockies in the bottom of the fourth inning with an injury to his right wrist.
X-rays were negative and the club announced that his status is day to day.
In the top half of the inning, Rafael Ynoa hit a sinking liner to left and Peralta attempted to make a sliding catch. The ball and his glove got caught underneath him, bending his wrist backward.
After being examined by assistant trainer Ryan DiPanfilo, Peralta remained in the game, but was removed for a pinch-hitter in the bottom half of the inning.
