SAN FRANCISCO – Paul Goldschmidt does not believe in pulling back the curtain. He will not offer insight on how he feels at the plate, discuss his adjustments or talk about the plan he took with him into an at-bat. He will with teammates, but when reporters start asking, Goldschmidt will not tread down that path.
So it was no surprise that late Wednesday afternoon, after the Diamondbacks wrapped up a 7-3 win over the San Francisco Giants and Goldschmidt wrapped up his best series of the year, he politely talked around the questions posed to him.
