Padres' Upton homers to sink Diamondbacks again

Justin Upton will say with an earnest voice and a straight face that playing against the Diamondbacks – the team that drafted him, developed him and ultimately traded him – means little to him at this point. He calls them just another team.

Whether that's true or not, he continues to torture his original organization, his performance on Saturday night just the latest opportunity for him to pour salt in the wound caused by that lopsided trade.

Upton blasted his second late-inning, go-ahead home run against the Diamondbacks this season, once against connecting against reliever Randall Delgado, one of the pitchers who was included in the seven-player deal that sent Upton to the Atlanta Braves in January 2013.
