Today, the Diamondbacks had their first squad workout with the pitchers and position players. Jack Sommers and I both attended the workout, which included live hitting, batting practice, cage work, and defensive drills.
- Josh Rojas was doing infield drills at 2B: Changing his number to 10, the versatile infielder who played the outfield last year as a necessity saw more action at 2B when the team was doing infield drills on bunts.
- Ketel Marte’s back seems fine: One of the topics that Jack and I were discussing was Ketel Marte’s back injury that ended his season.
