Major League Baseball began sending out written warnings last week to players who have violated the new pace-of-play rules. Diamondbacks catcher Tuffy Gosewisch was among them, but he didn't think there was much he could have done differently given the situation.
Gosewisch said he was behind the plate at the end of a half inning and due to lead off the bottom of the inning. He was told he was not in the batter's box within five seconds of the between-innings clock reaching zero.
"I think they're still feeling their way through it — they should be, at least," Gosewisch said.
