If the MLB postseason began today the Arizona Diamondbacks would be in it.
Let that sink in for a second.
We're a little more than a quarter of the way through the MLB season, so it's early (some perspective: the Minnesota Vikings were 4-0 at this point of the 2016 NFL season), but it's still worth noting that at 26-19, Arizona would be a Wild Card team in the MLB Playoffs.
If the postseason began today, the Diamondbacks would square off against the Los Angeles Dodgers (also 26-19) in a one-game playoff to advance to the NLDS.
