Geraldo Perdomo signed for only $70k in the 2016 International Signing Period. Three years later, he’s on the cusp of the majors following a mostly successful season at the plate on the strength of more walks (70) than strikeouts (67) between two different levels of A-ball. Perdomo has physically grown this past year, now listed at 6’3” 184. While the growth isn’t showing up in the stat sheet, Perdomo is already producing MLB-average exit velocities at the plate. With that in mind, there is more growth for power down the road and possibly MLB average power tool as he continues to physically mature.
