Milwaukee Brewers reliever Josh Hader didn't have a great night on the field during the MLB All-Star Game, but a disparaging trove of tweets from years ago quickly eclipsed his poor pitching performance.
Tweets from 2011 and 2012 that ranged from racist to homophobic to sexual surfaced late in Tuesday's game.
Hader quickly made his Twitter account private, but screenshots of the tweets circulated on social media long after the game.
According to Yahoo Sports columnist Jeff Passan, Hader's family switched to jerseys without his name on it while still at Nationals Park.
Some members of Josh Hader’s family, wearing his All-Star replica jersey, have taken them off and been given generic jerseys without his name on the back.
