You know a game has got off to a bad start when the first inning has a couple of walks, a couple stolen bases, a hit batsmen, and a throwing error by the catcher. Medlin would manage to escape the first with just the one run scored, thanks to no hits allowed, but that bad first inning would be an omen of things to come. The Grizzlies would later put up a 3 run inning in 3rd, would talk on another run with a solo hr in the fourth, then put up another 4 runs in the 5th. The Aces clawed back through out the game, but after the Grizzlies put up another run in the eighth, and had a big 5 run 9th inning, the game was out of reach at that point.
