Ildemaro Vargas was 2-5 leading off and Juniel Querecuto was 3-5 batting second, and Christian Walker had a big night batting third, going 4-5 with two doubles, a home run, and drove in five runs. Unfortunately, Socrates Brito screwed up the pattern and was not 5-5 batting cleanup, but only 1-4 with a walk. Anthony Recker had a nice night as well, going 2-4 with a double.
Alex Young was roughed up for 7 runs (5 ER) in 4 2⁄3 innings.
