Mike’s Hardball Talk: My suggestion of moves to improve the team going into 2017

The Diamondbacks were as bad as their 69-93 record showed. The pitching staff was a huge disappointment, the defense struggled, and injuries really killed the team at the most inopportune times. While the team wasn’t the worst in MLB in the standings, the team has turned into a national laughingstock while posting the worst attendance in team history. The team’s biggest weaknesses are pitching and defense. The rotation failed to perform to expectations, but aren’t the only unit in need of improvement. The bullpen was a major failure, even when they had their top 3 relievers closing down games.
