Welcome to the latest addition of Meme Monday. Just yesterday the Diamondbacks FINALLY WON A GAME and snapped a 13 game losing streak. In the sorrowful days before yesterday’s win, fans could be seen tossing themselves from the tops of the various parking garages that surround Chase Field in downtown Phoenix. There were even some unverified reports of self-immolation. But with yesterday’s win, better times can be seen on the horizon. Well, there are still some bumps the D-backs have to smooth out too. Like, Luke Weaver being placed on the 60 day IL for a strained shoulder, Domingo Leyba has yet to record a hit in his 17 at-bats for the team since being recalled, and Seth Franhoff is still getting spot starts.
