The Diamondbacks continue to struggle against the Miami Marlins this season, as they fell 5-4 to wrap up the three-game series on Wednesday. Out of the three series’s that the Diamondbacks have lost this season, two have been against the .500 Marlins.
After a three-run bomb from Jesús Sánchez, Miami jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the third inning. However, like we have seen time and time again this season, the Diamondbacks answered right back with four runs of their own in the bottom half of the inning.
It was a whopping four walks followed by a base knock that gave the Diamondbacks the lead.
