PHOENIX -- The D-backs suffered yet another punch to the gut Sunday as the Braves scored six runs in the ninth for a 9-4 win over Arizona at Chase Field.
With the loss, the D-backs remain 2 1/2 games behind the first-place Rockies in the National League West. The Dodgers, who beat the Rockies on Sunday, are one-half game behind Colorado. The D-backs open a four-game series at Coors Field on Monday.
Arizona hoped to enter that series with some momentum after rallying for four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to take a 4-2 lead.
