Speculation surrounding the future of Chicago Cubs star Kris Bryant continues and the Arizona Diamondbacks continue to be a part of it.
One baseball insider recently said that Arizona could be a 'wild card' in pursuing a trade for the former MVP.
"Whenever you hear the Diamondbacks involved in anything, I would say that there’s always a chance that something could happen," ESPN's Pedro Gomez recently told Sports360AZ.com’s Brad Cesmat. “The Diamondbacks, despite not being a big, big market team are a wild card when it comes to almost anything."
Gomez cited Zack Greinke and Madison Bumgarner's signings with Arizona as evidence in his claim.
