With the offseason in just its second week, the Diamondbacks front office has before it any number of possible directions it could take the roster for next season. Right fielder Kole Calhoun, however, seems to be hoping for the most direct route.
“I hope they bring everybody back, as (many) guys as we could,” Calhoun said on Friday morning before participating in the Diamondbacks’ 10th annual Celebrity Golf Classic. “I think that’s a good team.”
Despite finishing in last place in the National League West with a 25-35 record, there does seem to be some possibility for the Diamondbacks essentially to roll it back next year.
