Diamondbacks owner Ken Kendrick said in a radio interview that he expects manager Torey Lovullo to remain in his role through next year despite having a contract set to expire at the end of the season.
“If I were making a prediction — and I sometimes do and try not to make too many because the more predictions you make the more likely you’re going to be wrong on occasion — I would predict he’s going to be right back where he is in that dugout running the team next year,” Kendrick told Arizona Sports 98.7 on Monday afternoon.
