PHOENIX -- D-backs manager Torey Lovullo said left-hander Robbie Ray (oblique) is progressing well and will make his second rehab start on Tuesday for Triple-A Reno. He will throw about 20 more pitches this time around, topping out at about 70.
Lovullo offered updates on a few more injured players prior to Saturday night's matchup with the Mets:
• Lovullo said he would have an update on A.J. Pollock's latest CT scan next week when the team is in Anaheim. Pollock, who fractured his left thumb last month, is doing conditioning and range-of-motion exercises.
