Before tonight’s win against the Nationals in Washington D.C, the Arizona Diamondbacks provided updates on 2 Dbacks trying to make their way back to the team.
RHP starter Chase Anderson pitched in a rehab outing for the AZL Rookie League Diamondbacks against the AZL Athletics on Sunday.
He threw 4 shutout frames allowing 4 hits while striking out 4 and walking nobody in a 7-2 victory.
Anderson is 4-4 with a 4.37 ERA and a 4.23 FIP in his 2nd season with the team across 18 starts. Anderson has given up 12 home runs. He was much more effective last season when he won his first 5 starts in a Dbacks uniform.
