Is Paul Goldschmidt's injury more serious than you're telling us because he was supposed to play the other day and didn't. Starting to get the feeling there is more to this than is being said.

Chris, I would be surprised if Goldschmidt is not back in the lineup Friday against the Padres. According to everything we've been told his MRI did not show any structural damage or any cause for concern. There was some inflammation, and he was given a cortisone shot to treat that. While I know we've become accustomed to Goldschmidt playing just about 162 games a season, I really did not expect him to play in either of the games in Los Angeles.
