PHOENIX -- On a night when their bullpen was exhausted, the D-backs got the performance they needed from Zack Godley, who outdueled Clayton Kershaw in a 6-1 win on Tuesday at Chase Field.
The D-backs have now tied a team record with eight straight regular-season victories over the Dodgers. They go for a series sweep on Wednesday afternoon.
Godley allowed one run on four hits while working seven innings to help save a bullpen that had been worked hard in Monday's 15-inning 2-1 win.
