Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt doesn't like to talk about himself, and, as good as he is, there already has been plenty written about him.
So what more is there to say?
We know Goldschmidt is a great player, perhaps one of the 10 best players in the major leagues. He’s been the runner-up in the National League Most Valuable Player voting twice in the past three years, he’s been an All-Star each of the past three seasons, and last year he was the only player to hit .300 or better with 30-plus home runs, 100-plus RBIs and 20-plus stolen bases.
