SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- D-backs general manager Mike Hazen said he doesn't have a specific profile in mind as the club continues to look to add an outfielder to the roster mix.
"I think we're open-minded to what that could be," Hazen said. "We're trying to figure out ways to make the team better. If it's one guy, if it's two guys and we piece that together, if it's tapping into some of the versatility we have on the roster now."
Of course, free agent J.D. Martinez remains a candidate, but Hazen has steadfastly declined to comment directly on any talks that may or may not be going on between the two sides.
