SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Welington Castillo had another big day at the plate and Zack Greinke tossed 5 2/3 shutout innings as the D-backs beat the Rangers, 11-1, on Saturday afternoon in front of a sellout crowd at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick.
Greinke, who was making his fourth start of the spring, struck out seven and allowed four hits in lowering his ERA to 1.88.
Things were not as positive for Rangers starter Chi Chi Gonzalez, who is battling to win the No. 5 spot in the Texas rotation.
Gonzalez allowed seven runs on eight hits in 3 1/3 innings.
